AI Application Senior Technologist

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an AI Application Senior Technologist to lead the development of agent‑powered applications across its industrial software suite. Based in Beijing, you will combine deep knowledge of AI agent frameworks with software engineering expertise to create reliable, scalable AI experiences for HMI/SCADA workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agent runtime frameworks, execution workflows, and AI‑assisted user interfaces.
• Build and maintain reusable agent skills focused on industrial automation use cases.
• Define execution strategies, task decomposition methods, and capability boundaries for agents.
• Develop, integrate, and optimise AI interaction tools and conversational interfaces.
• Improve agent performance, reliability, observability, and overall user experience across AI‑enabled products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of MCP, agent frameworks, tool calling, planning, memory, and related AI application patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing agent skills, workflows, and execution frameworks.
• Familiarity with mainstream large language model APIs and AI application development practices.
• Solid software engineering, system design, and troubleshooting abilities.
