Acting Head of eSales

About the role

We are looking for an Acting Head of eSales to lead our Greater China eSales team. You will work closely with global and local stakeholders to drive revenue, expand market share, and promote Elsevier health electronic products across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing eSales team.
• Drive sales growth, renewals and profitability across the region.
• Manage key relationships with hospitals, medical institutions and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Design and execute sales strategies for major accounts and product portfolios.
• Expand market presence through new business development and channel management.
• Collaborate with marketing, customer success, finance and global teams to meet commercial objectives.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to shape long‑term growth plans.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sales and key‑account management experience, preferably in digital, subscription, SaaS or healthcare information solutions.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare, hospital or medical sales environment in Greater China.
• Strategic, results‑driven and customer‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
