Account Sales – AI/AR & Waveguide (Shanghai)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Account Sales professional to own the relationship with customers in the AI/AR and Waveguide business in Shanghai. You will act as the bridge between the customer and our product teams, driving complex sales strategies and ensuring successful delivery of our semiconductor and display solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop/implement complex sales strategies for AI/AR and Waveguide technologies.
• Present Applied Materials products and services, coordinate demonstrations, and communicate product roadmaps to customers.
• Prepare pricing quotes, negotiate final terms, and submit order documentation.
• Maintain accurate coverage, documentation, and summaries of customer visits; develop and execute customer‑specific action plans.
• Conduct follow‑up on accounts receivable and ensure timely payment.

• Demonstrated depth of expertise in a specialized technical discipline.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Leadership experience managing functional teams or projects of moderate complexity.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
