Account Manager – Industrial (Sales)

About the role

Renesas is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join its Worldwide Sales & Marketing team, focusing on the Industrial segment. You will work closely with regional Field Application Engineers and product groups to drive growth in the Infrastructure market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan aligned with sales targets for key infrastructure accounts.
• Generate sustainable, profitable revenue by creating demand and orchestrating resources across accounts.
• Design and implement sales and technical strategies using local and corporate assets.
• Expand the customer network, build new relationships, and maintain a strong design pipeline.
• Track progress against scorecards and ensure revenue targets are exceeded.
• Engage customers directly and indirectly to support demand‑creation initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering and purchasing teams, understanding their system and application needs.
• Communicate Renesas’ product portfolio and gather feedback to enhance offerings.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure proper fulfillment and support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the Infrastructure market.
• Strong relationships with key accounts in the industrial sector.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Fluent English communication skills.
