Account Manager – Fine Fragrance

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances and health & biosciences, is seeking an Account Manager for its Fine Fragrance business in Guangzhou, China. The role will drive sales strategies, manage client relationships and support the growth of the fragrance portfolio across the Chinese market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet business plan objectives for the China Fine Fragrance segment.
• Identify market trends and client transformation opportunities to maximise sales through detailed account plans.
• Provide clients with product concept information, submission documents and presentations.
• Lead project management activities to ensure high win rates and mitigate risks.
• Oversee client account management and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor fashion, lifestyle and technology trends to advise clients on emerging opportunities.
• Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports, action plans and competitive analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven commercial experience, preferably in the scent or fragrance industry.
• Strong integrity, passion for customer intimacy and ability to work independently in a virtual network.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
• Team‑player who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
