Account Manager - Construction Industry

About the role

Regal Rexnord is looking for an Account Manager in Shanghai to drive sales and promotion of its IPS product range in the construction industry. The role is responsible for meeting sales targets and expanding market share, and can be performed remotely from an approved location with flexibility depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand market demand, promote products and work with other departments to prepare quotations and solutions that win orders.
• Develop and maintain distributors and business partners to meet sales targets.
• Keep close contact with construction OEMs and end users, and must have contacts with construction design institutes, providing technical solutions.
• Visit end users, design institutes and other companies to obtain orders for maintenance spare parts.
• Provide technical support, maintain customer relationships and promote Regal products in the industry.
• Follow up sales orders to ensure on-time delivery with high quality, and provide payment information to customers so payments are made on time.
• Complete other assignments given by the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical or engineering-related subjects.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales or technical service of power transmission products; familiarity with the bearing and gearmotor industry is preferred.
• Deep understanding of related products and industries, able to give customers professional sales and technical solutions.
• Fluent written and spoken English preferred; good computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly efficient interpersonal communication, independent, proactive, responsible, self-motivated and adaptable to frequent business trips.
