Account Manager, Chemical Industry

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an Account Manager to lead sales and adoption of its industrial software solutions within the chemical industry in China. The role focuses on a portfolio of large, high‑profile regional accounts and aims to achieve revenue targets while building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own vertical industry sales targets and quotas.
• Plan and deploy industry development plans, create replicable business models, and manage account plans.
• Develop and maintain a partner network in the chemical sector.
• Coordinate industry‑specific marketing activities.
• Understand customer requirements and deliver timely, efficient solutions.
• Apply company policies consistently.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide accurate information.
• Ensure high‑quality contracts and positive cash return records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in a relevant domain.
• Strong knowledge of the chemical industry; a degree in chemical engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English is preferred.
