About the role
3M is seeking a qualified Quality Engineer to manage third‑party manufacturing quality. You will ensure that vendors meet 3M’s quality standards and support new product introductions.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify vendor Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) qualification
- Govern CMP processes
- Review and monitor vendor quality control documentation
- Verify vendor output quality performance
- Conduct problem solving and manage SCARs
- Handle customer complaints when required
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
Required profile
- Experience in quality engineering and vendor qualification
- Ability to analyze quality data and drive corrective actions
- Strong problem‑solving skills
