Supply Chain Specialist – End‑to‑End Strategy (Shanghai)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to lead end‑to‑end supply chain strategy and execution for its portfolio in Shanghai. The role ensures supply reliability, cost‑to‑serve optimization, and regulatory compliance while supporting product launches and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional S&OP/IBP execution, coordinating demand inputs, supply commitments, capacity planning and executive escalations for constrained SKUs.
• Manage inventory and working capital, optimizing safety stocks, reducing obsolescence and handling consignment/field‑stock models.
• Drive launch readiness by defining supply plans, staging, buffer strategies and allocation for new product introductions.
• Lead supply risk management and contingency planning, including single‑source mitigation, dual‑sourcing and expedited logistics.
• Oversee distributor and 3PL relationships, monitoring KPIs, SLAs, returns/recall processes and cold‑chain requirements.
• Partner with Quality & Regulatory on import/export controls, lot traceability and recall preparedness.
• Implement process improvements and digital initiatives to enhance planning cadence, transparency and decision‑making.
• Represent supply chain in global forums, contributing to network design, capacity allocation and supplier selection.
• Serve as system expert for SAP and upstream planning tools, supporting upgrades, testing and implementation.
• Utilize Power BI to build reporting templates, improve reporting efficiency and generate actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain planning, S&OP/IBP execution and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of launch readiness, risk mitigation and distributor/3PL management.
• Familiarity with quality, regulatory and compliance requirements in the healthcare sector.
• Ability to drive process improvements and work with cross‑functional global teams.
