Sr. Consultant / Manager - Technology Strategy & Transformation

About the role

Deloitte China's Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) practice offers end-to-end IT strategy consulting, including strategy and design, IT PMO, technology effectiveness and innovation. This senior consultant / manager position works with clients across industries to define technology strategy, transform the IT function and drive digital transformation, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the client's technology strategy and supporting business processes, and lead the transformation of the IT function.
• Lead projects and give strategic direction across the account, advising on decisions that improve return on investment.
• Use financial information and business cases to build support for solutions, and sell and negotiate profitable transactions for the firm.
• Build client relationships, network globally and assemble teams to serve clients.
• Advise on leading-edge technologies and their effect on emerging business models, and lead IT strategy conversations with C-suite and sub-C-suite executives.
• As a leader, inspire the team, build talent pipelines, set team priorities and apply a forward-looking, business and industry-oriented approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with a relevant major.
• Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in IT strategy and planning, digital, IT system implementation and related fields.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Willing to travel.
• Ability to lead clients through end-to-end IT and digital solution deployment and to guide teams through technology strategy and day-to-day operations.
