Senior International Tax Consultant (Hangzhou/Ningbo)

About the role

Deloitte China is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its International Tax team, serving clients in Hangzhou and Ningbo. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality tax compliance, advisory and planning services across China and cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BEPS 2.0 related projects and provide technical guidance to client compliance and reporting initiatives.
• Assist partners and directors in developing solutions that reflect changes in Chinese and global tax regulations.
• Manage China‑based and cross‑border business tax projects for multinational and local clients.
• Advise on tax implications of expansions, acquisitions, divestments and reorganisations in both domestic and international contexts.
• Collaborate with other Deloitte service lines and offices worldwide to deliver integrated, cross‑functional projects.
• Maintain a portfolio of clients, handling Hong Kong profits tax compliance and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in tax, accounting, finance, law or related fields.
• Professional accounting qualification, PRC‑registered tax agent or lawyer credential.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax function within a CPA firm (Big 4 preferred), law firm, tax authority or large corporation.
• Deep understanding of Chinese tax policies, rules and regulations.
• Strong analytical ability and commitment to delivering high‑quality client service.
