Senior Graphic Designer

About the role

As a senior member of adidas Creation Center Shanghai, you will shape the visual direction of adidas products and campaigns for the Chinese market. The role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on design execution, turning global brand vision and local consumer insights into compelling graphics that resonate with the next generation of consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative, premium graphic concepts across multiple product categories, seasonal calendars and special projects.
• Translate strategic briefs and consumer insights into visual narratives that are both creative and commercially viable.
• Define and evolve graphic language systems while maintaining brand consistency and pushing creative boundaries.
• Manage end‑to‑end project cycles, from concept through production‑ready artwork, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Development, Sourcing and Design teams to guarantee seamless execution and design integrity.
• Establish structured workflows, tools and best practices to drive process excellence.
• Monitor sport, fashion, street‑culture and technology trends, integrating emerging AI‑supported design tools into the creative process.

Required profile

• Senior‑level graphic designer with a strong visual judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence product direction.
• Strategic thinker who can convert consumer insights into culturally relevant graphics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
