Product Compliance Officer – Global (Europe focus)

About the role

As a Product Compliance Officer you will ensure that Bosch wellbeing SDA products meet all applicable certification and legal requirements, primarily for European markets, with the possibility to extend to other regions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to guarantee product safety and regulatory conformity.

Key responsibilities

• Define the scope of certification and legal requirements for the product range.
• Maintain the list of norms and standards applicable to each product.
• Create and update product fact sheets for target countries.
• Draft Declaration of Conformity (DoC) templates and review final certification reports using a four‑eyes principle.
• Prepare final DoC documents for approval.
• Monitor legislative changes in real time and implement necessary corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product compliance or certification.
• Experience with exports of home appliances to Europe/USA or work in certification/testing organisations.
• Detail‑oriented, neutral and fair‑minded.
• Fluent English for global communication and ability to lead meetings across regions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IEC 60335‑2‑40, IEC 60335‑2‑65, IEC 60335‑2‑80 standards.
• Knowledge of EMC standards such as IEC 61000 and CISPR 55.
• Understanding of European and U.S. product certification processes.
