Preventive Quality Engineer – Automotive Tooling

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Preventive Quality Engineer to lead quality and release activities for mechanical tooling parts in the automotive sector. You will ensure compliance with Bosch quality standards across suppliers and sub‑suppliers throughout product development and release phases.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive quality and release tasks for tooling mechanical parts.
• Verify supplier compliance with Bosch quality requirements and define corrective measures for deviations.
• Guarantee that projects and commodities meet qualification processes, guidelines, and timelines.
• Provide technical support to resolve complex quality issues and report project status.
• For critical projects, collaborate with PMQ coordinators to define and implement corrective actions.
• Drive Lessons Learned initiatives and coordinate improvements with other Bosch locations.
• Prepare and present quality data in global escalation meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of problem‑solving methodologies and automotive quality tools (8D, PQP/APQP, FMEA).
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency with mechanical design, production processes, and measurement methods.
• Ability to quickly learn and use purchase/quality IT tools.
