Job description
About the role
We develop bus driveline solutions, including axles and automatic transmissions, and support OEMs in vehicle‑level system development. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work within a team of around 15 to design and improve commercial vehicle driveline components.
Key responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts for commercial vehicle driveline products at the component level.
- Perform basic mechanical calculations and simulations.
- Support detailed design tasks and engineering documentation.
- Manage and coordinate design change processes.
- Provide technical support to other functional departments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or automotive engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drawing; experience with Creo is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of basic mechanical principles, manufacturing processes, and material properties.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus.
