About the role

The International Business Consultant will support our clients in expanding into overseas markets by delivering in‑depth market intelligence, identifying high‑value partners and assisting with recruitment and M&A activities. The role combines market research, business development and strategic communication to help clients make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and prepare regulatory briefing notes to give clients insight into competitive landscapes and compliance frameworks.
• Execute operational missions to identify, assess and qualify potential business partners such as suppliers, distributors, clients and M&A targets.
• Perform headhunting assignments, assess candidates and produce comprehensive reports for client recruitment decisions.
• Support senior management in drafting proposals, presentations, client background checks and pre‑sales materials.
• Monitor competitive and market intelligence, produce newsletters, industry and country reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Research innovative tools related to AI, databases, prospecting techniques and marketing initiatives to improve internal processes.
• Assist in planning and executing online and offline events, coordinating communications and guest invitations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in International Management, Business Administration, Marketing & Communication or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in a consulting firm serving overseas clients.
• Highly proactive, autonomous with strong analytical, communication and writing abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Quick learner, adaptable to changing environments.
• Native Chinese speaker with excellent written English; French is a plus.
