About the role

We are looking for a diligent Cyber Security Analyst to join our Managed Security Service Provider’s CyberSOC team. The role focuses on detecting, analysing and responding to security incidents across a diverse client base, working in shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using advanced SIEM platforms and conduct incident detection and response.
• Perform in‑depth analysis of incidents, identify threats, vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
• Review logs, network traffic and reports to spot anomalous activities and support proactive threat hunting.
• Document incident handling, time spent and contribute to improving detection frameworks.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, delivering incident updates, findings and security recommendations.
• Support ad‑hoc security projects such as penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, security assessments and onboarding of new customers.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge within the collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a security analyst or in a comparable role.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Programming/scripting in Python and PowerShell.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools.
• Penetration testing and vulnerability scanning techniques.
• Incident investigation and security assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of vulnerability analysis and exploitation testing.
