Managed Services Consultant

About the role

Veeva Systems is looking for a Managed Services Consultant to become an expert on its China CRM product and help multinational pharmaceutical customers achieve their business goals. The role focuses on off‑site, post‑implementation consulting and technical administration, acting as the key technical bridge between customers and Veeva’s service, product, and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical consultant for post‑implementation system administration, gathering requirements and providing best‑practice guidance.
• Provide Tier 2/3 incident troubleshooting, manage customer‑internal release cycles, and design new product features based on client needs.
• Handle environment management, change requests, user/security setup, territory and role hierarchy configuration, and data import/export activities.
• Develop team capabilities, create best‑practice accelerators, and take on any tasks needed to ensure customer success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Python and MySQL, plus a solid understanding of software architecture and data models.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude Code) and CLI assistants, with a basic grasp of AI concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment, and strong accountability under pressure.
