Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will support Amazon Web Services China data‑center operations by managing the flow of hardware components. You will work closely with technicians, procurement teams and transportation vendors to ensure inventory accuracy and timely delivery of parts.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, stow, pick, package, ship, sort and count computer hardware parts.
• Process part requests from technicians and verify inventory availability.
• Monitor logistics dashboards and take actions to meet KPI targets.
• Balance inventory across clusters and regions as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to schedule deliveries and resolve shipment issues.
• Manage storage facilities, conduct cycle counts, daily audits and 7S activities.
• Follow inventory processes for quarantine, media, and critical parts control.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and handle RMA and scrap processes.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, inventory management or warehouse operations, preferably in a data‑center environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technicians, procurement and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet defined performance metrics.
