Global Supply Chain Director, Medical Device

About the role

Opportunity to shape and enhance global supply chain operations in a high‑impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership. The position will lead the design and execution of supply chain strategies for a medical‑device organization operating worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and improve global supply chain processes to boost efficiency, agility and scalability.
• Develop strategies that balance service levels, cost optimisation, compliance and sustainability objectives.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and organisational change across multiple functions.
• Oversee demand planning, forecasting, order management and ERP‑based planning activities.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability and commercial competitiveness.
• Direct inventory management, warehousing, transportation and temperature‑controlled logistics.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and healthcare industry requirements.
• Partner with operations, finance, quality and commercial teams to achieve business goals.
• Build, coach and develop a high‑performing, multicultural team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in global supply chain management, preferably in medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or other regulated industries.
• Proven track record in business transformation, process improvement and organisational restructuring.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and team‑development capabilities.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of ERP systems and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Expertise in procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing and trade compliance.
• Experience managing international supplier networks and complex global operations.
