Cargo Sales Officer

About the role

The Cargo Sales Officer will lead Etihad Cargo’s commercial strategy in the Shenzhen market, managing an insource team to maximise revenue, load factor and yield. You will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships and driving performance against budget and KPI targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Etihad Cargo’s commercial strategy for the assigned market and accounts.
• Lead, coach and coordinate the insource team to achieve revenue and performance targets.
• Develop and execute country, area and account plans to optimise revenue, load factor, yield and product mix.
• Manage a portfolio of customer contracts in line with Etihad’s segmentation model.
• Maintain and grow relationships with global, regional and local key accounts.
• Collect market intelligence, provide feedback to HQ and act proactively on opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with KPI, SLA, safety, security and environmental standards.
• Participate in budgeting, debt control and CASS compliance.
• Drive implementation of iCargo, self‑service solutions, direct booking and E‑Airway Bill.
• Collaborate with GHA/Cargo Terminal to deliver quality service.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years commercial experience in air cargo.
• Strong knowledge of cargo operations and customer handling.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
