Senior Marketing Executive

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to lead portfolio strategy, new product introductions and demand generation for its traffic safety solutions in Shanghai. The role combines product, pricing, promotion and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth in a B2G environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product portfolio, managing product, price, place and promotion while optimizing margins and supporting sales growth.
• Lead local new‑product introduction (NPI) from pipeline development through launch packages and commercialization.
• Generate demand through market segmentation, competitive analysis, safety awareness programs and customer engagement activities such as seminars and demos.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, sales and applications engineering to shape roadmaps, pricing strategies and go‑to‑market plans, and produce technical collateral.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Traffic Engineering, Materials Science, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of product/portfolio marketing, technical marketing or strategic business development experience, including end‑to‑end product launches.
• Proven experience in B2G markets and working with state‑owned entities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strategic, data‑driven thinker comfortable in fast‑paced, cross‑cultural settings.
