Sales Manager – Embassy

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the Embassy account portfolio for our luxury hotel in Beijing. The role focuses on driving revenue, managing key accounts and prospecting new business across assigned markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts within the assigned geographic area, maximizing revenue and increasing market share against competitors.
• Prospect and acquire new accounts, focusing on European and other target markets.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up tentative bookings.
• Negotiate and secure contracts, applying SMART contracting to optimise rates.
• Attend trade shows, sales blitzes and workshops to promote the hotel.
• Support the Director of Sales in creating and executing the annual sales action plan and budget forecasts.
• Execute sales actions within the approved cost budget and document all activities in the SFA system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contact information in the OPERA database and cross‑sell other Kempinski properties.
• Participate in the Duty Manager rota and comply with all hotel policies, health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel sales or comparable hospitality sales environment.
• Strong account management skills with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Excellent knowledge of competitor sets and hotel services.
• Ability to work independently, travel to client sites and represent the hotel at industry events.
