Sr. Manager, Emerging Sales (LCS) – Shanghai

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the Walmart Connect Emerging Sales team in Shanghai. The role focuses on delivering trusted advisory services to C‑level clients, driving revenue growth, and exceeding business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Walmart Connect Sales professionals, providing strategic direction and coaching.
• Develop and execute team and individual account plans with actionable strategies to surpass sales quotas and grow the book of business.
• Deliver accurate quarterly sales forecasts, monitor performance trends, and adjust tactics to address gaps.
• Guide the creation of data‑driven sales presentations and proposals for mid‑level and executive audiences.
• Leverage deep knowledge of Walmart Connect product suites and the e‑commerce ecosystem to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Prioritize complex cross‑functional initiatives, aligning resources such as product, analytics, and marketing.
• Standardize sales processes and best practices for large‑customer management.
• Lead strategic cross‑functional workstreams and provide insights to senior leadership for resource allocation and high‑impact projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 8–10 years of client‑facing sales, account management, or optimization experience in digital advertising/e‑commerce.
• 3+ years of people‑management experience leading a sales team.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Proven track record of solving complex business problems and delivering measurable results.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
