Security Engineer – AWS Marketplace China

About the role

Join the AWS China Service Landing engineering team as a Security Engineer focused on AWS Marketplace China. You will own the security posture of the Marketplace platform, collaborate with development, business development, and ISV partners, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define customer use cases, design and prototype security solutions for Marketplace China.
• Work with development teams to address security concerns in AWS Marketplace systems.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in products from MCO, BD, and ISV partners.
• Develop and maintain security‑vetting tools to detect issues before product publication.
• Educate customers and internal stakeholders on security best practices and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Strong teamwork and customer‑focus mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Proven experience in vulnerability detection, remediation, and compliance with government certifications.
• Track record of collaborating with development teams and prototyping security solutions.
