About the role

Teachanywhere is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Computer Science Teacher to join its Shanghai campus. The role involves delivering engaging computer science lessons to secondary students, following either the UK or IB curriculum, and fostering an inquiry‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess computer science lessons for secondary year groups.
• Adapt curriculum materials to suit a multicultural classroom and diverse learning styles.
• Promote inquiry‑based teaching methods and encourage student curiosity.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with at least two years post‑qualifying experience (three years preferred).
• Experience teaching the UK or International Baccalaureate curriculum is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment.
• Adaptable, flexible and a positive attitude toward life and work.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of secondary‑level computer science concepts.
• Effective classroom management and instructional design skills.
