Reservations Sales Agent 预订员

About the role

The Reservations Sales Agent is responsible for driving room sales and providing exceptional service to guests and partners. You will promote InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) products, handle reservations across multiple channels, and support the hotel’s revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Sell IHG products and services using up‑selling and suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all IHG hotels in the region and communicate special rates, offers and promotions.
• Develop and follow a regular pattern of sales calls and action plans to increase reservation volume.
• Record, process and amend reservations received by phone, fax or email, including wait‑list bookings and special billing arrangements.
• Investigate and document “no‑show” cases and manage credit‑approval reservations in liaison with Front Office or Finance managers.
• Monitor reservation levels, report occupancy trends and prepare sales reports for travel agents and business partners.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal ability to represent the hotel, brand and company with customers, employees and third parties.
• Problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer use and ability to read and write English.
• High school or vocational certificate in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field, with at least one year of relevant experience (or six months in reservations/front office).
