About the role
Hogan Lovells is looking for an intern in Shanghai to join a global, collaborative team of legal professionals. The internship covers a wide range of tasks, including legal research and due diligence, legal translation, and drafting legal documents in Chinese and English.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and due diligence
- Provide legal translation
- Prepare legal memoranda
- Draft legal documents in Chinese and English
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law expected in 2027 or 2028
- PRC bar qualification preferred
- Exceptional writing skills in both English and Chinese
- Available to work five days a week and willing to travel as required
- Prior experience at a law firm or in-house legal team is a plus

- Strong legal research and writing capabilities
- Detail-oriented with a fast learning ability
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Effective task management and ability to perform under pressure
