IT Consultant – Japanese Speaker for Banking Projects

About the role

Join FSO Consulting’s technology consulting team to support a leading bank in Shanghai. You will play a key part in delivering large‑scale business system projects, handling project planning, risk monitoring, system integration design, and cross‑functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, progress tracking and risk management, delivering regular status reports.
• Interview end‑users and IT teams to capture business requirements and evaluate existing systems.
• Design integration and migration strategies, producing detailed technical documentation.
• Coordinate communication among user departments, internal IT teams and external vendors; organize meetings and record minutes.
• Prepare various reporting materials and support knowledge‑transfer activities for bank staff.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in banking business‑system development.
• Proven track record managing or implementing large‑scale banking system projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and coordination abilities; proactive and responsible.
• Familiarity with Japanese corporate work style and project‑management standards.
• Fluent in Japanese; experience in Japanese IT firms or banks is a plus.
