DC Controller – 3PL

About the role

The DC Controller – 3PL will join H&M Group’s logistics team to provide strategic and operational financial leadership for distribution centre activities. Working closely with the DC Manager, the role ensures that financial performance aligns with regional strategy and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the DC Manager and local logistics team to set targets, monitor service levels, sustainability, capacity, stock and shrinkage.
• Lead local financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, monthly and yearly cuts, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Control invoices and cost booking, managing full logistics costs for trade, transport and DC operations where applicable.
• Coordinate with internal functions, regional counterparts, external partners and local sales organisations.
• Develop tools and methods for controlling and operational management, identifying synergies with regional and global structures.
• Analyse performance, financial results, business cases and market data to support cost management and risk mitigation.
• Maintain data quality in logistics systems and act as business owner of the logistics data warehouse.
• Prepare for internal and external audits, follow up on recommendations, and support health, safety and sustainability reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics Management or a related discipline.
• Strong financial knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical ability and solid business acumen.
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end distribution centre operations and organisational structure.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
