Customer Service Representative (Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative on a contract basis to support our order and logistics processes. You will act as a liaison between customers, sales, and logistics, ensuring smooth order creation, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Create and receive purchase orders for German and Chinese stock in SAP.
• Check product viscosity after delivery order creation when required.
• Confirm bill of lading, prepare customs clearance documents, and monitor sea‑freight status.
• Generate sales orders, deliveries, and related documentation (COA, labels, customer‑specific lists) in SAP.
• Adjust estimated arrival times and update customers as needed.
• Coordinate with logistics to resolve picking and delivery issues.
• Manage sample orders, follow up accounts receivable, and notify sales of overdue payments.
• Process special order releases and handle external warehouse affairs, including payment applications in Ariba.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct monthly stock‑taking, and manage slow‑moving or obsolete products.
• Create new customer master data, apply for transportation licenses, and process customer complaints in SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service or order‑management role.
• Strong learning ability and willingness to acquire new skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
