Audit Associate / Senior – Qingdao

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Audit Associate or Senior to join its Qingdao team. You will work with multinational clients, applying Deloitte’s risk‑based audit methodology to deliver high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for small to medium audit engagements, planning and execution.
• Perform audit, accounting, and occasional tax engagements for listed and multinational companies.
• Build trust with stakeholders while maintaining independence and understanding service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit work, applying appropriate tools, guidance and methodology.
• Participate actively in risk assessment, risk discussions and the development of audit analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline, preferably accounting or related.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience in a CPA firm, preferably a Big 4.
• Professional certifications such as CICPA, HKICPA or other CPA qualifications are desirable.
• Accreditation as a Green & Sustainable Finance (GSF) professional is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Putonghua/Cantonese).
• Mature, proactive, team‑oriented with a willingness to travel.

Required skills

• US GAAP, IFRS and HK GAAP knowledge.
• Audit analytics and data visualization techniques.
• Risk assessment and substantive testing expertise.
• Proficiency with audit software and general computer applications.
