Silicon Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Silicon Reliability Engineer will own and execute the reliability qualification strategy for new technologies, ensuring risk‑based plans, timely reporting and issue closure.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain qualification plans for process/device technologies based on risk assessment and ensure their execution.
• Drive reliability stress testing, data analysis and reporting, and lead cross‑functional discussions on reliability risks and improvements.
• Review foundry qualification data, verify compliance with NXP requirements and work with modeling and tools teams to close gaps.
• Support investigation of reliability escapes, root‑cause analysis and integration of lessons learned into future plans.

Required profile

• MSc/PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, technology qualification or reliability physics.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, reliability modeling, circuit design and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
