Senior Accountant (Nanjing)

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its China finance team in Nanjing. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting, tax compliance and cash‑flow management, supporting the company’s growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare original vouchers, accounting entries, process accounts and generate financial reports.
• Conduct tax filing, payments, assist in tax audits and planning to ensure compliance.
• Manage company cash flow, monitor liquidity, and produce regular cash‑budget and utilization analyses.
• Review controls, monitor payment terms, and generate collection performance reports (AR aging, bad‑debt).
• Proactively manage overdue accounts, issue reminders and coordinate collection plans with RSM.
• Enforce expense policies, review reimbursement documents, block out‑of‑budget expenses and produce expense analysis with cost‑saving recommendations.
• Maintain expense ledgers with 100% data accuracy for real‑time budget tracking.
• Report key financial metrics to the Financial Manager and collaborate with business units on policy compliance.
• Consolidate China‑region financial data and provide monthly/quarterly reports to headquarters using HFM, Sage or related interfaces.

Required profile

• Strong accounting background with experience in full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• In‑depth knowledge of Chinese tax regulations and compliance procedures.
• Proven ability to manage cash flow, liquidity and budgeting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to enforce expense controls.
• Effective communication skills to partner with business departments and senior management.
