Procurement Operations & Process Excellence Officer (1‑Year Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an Officer to manage procurement operations and drive process excellence for a one‑year fixed‑term contract in Shanghai. The role will oversee the purchase‑to‑pay cycle, ensure compliance with policies, and support internal departments in efficient sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay process, including processing purchase requisitions and generating purchase orders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as supply chain, engineering, HR, legal, buyers and vendors to resolve supply issues and manage order confirmations.
• Steer buying channel usage toward higher automation and ensure adherence to quality standards and documentation requirements.
• Handle exceptions for purchase requisitions, maintain master data, and collect required documents such as certificates.
• Train internal teams on procurement guidelines and the appropriate platform for request raising.
• Support implementation of procurement strategies and coordinate non‑conformity investigations with internal and external parties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in procurement, sales or supply chain (fresh graduates also considered).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; additional languages such as Japanese or Thai are a plus.
• Service‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate globally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP purchase‑to‑pay module (preferred).
