Power Semiconductor Project Manager – R&D & Manufacturing

About the role

As a Power Semiconductor Project Manager you will coordinate project‑related communications between R&D, manufacturing in Germany and our partner in China. The role focuses on delivering SiC‑based products for industrial applications such as solid‑state transformers, AI data centers, energy storage systems and eVTOLs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements (technical, commercial, quality) into clear internal work packages.
• Plan and control the project lifecycle from concept through manufacturing setup to serial production and official product release.
• Proactively manage customer expectations, handle escalations, conduct risk management and drive initiatives to improve satisfaction.
• Lead a cross‑functional international team, fostering collaboration between technical experts, supply chain and quality assurance.
• Represent the project in review committees and report progress to management.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of project management experience, specifically in power electronics, power semiconductor or power modules.
• International project experience (EU & China) and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial system applications (SST, AI data centers), packaging technology and APQP/PPAP processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical skills and high self‑motivation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
