About the role
UPS is looking for motivated individuals to join its hub operations team as Hub Sorters. In this fast‑paced environment you will be responsible for moving packages efficiently through the sorting process, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
- Scan, sort, and stock packages according to UPS handling methods.
- Operate heavy machinery when required to move large volumes of freight.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to UPS safety standards.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support hub operations.
Required profile
- Ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to read and memorize postal codes accurately.
- Flexibility to work varied shift schedules, up to five days per week.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Required skills
- Operation of heavy‑load handling equipment.
