About the role
This role combines corporate communications with brand and digital communications ownership for China. You will support the launch of a new corporate brand, drive integrated communication activities, and ensure alignment with global strategy while executing locally.
Key responsibilities
- Govern brand and digital communications in China during the transition to a standalone company.
- Develop and execute digital channel strategy, editorial planning, content creation and performance optimization across local platforms.
- Translate global narratives into high‑quality, locally relevant storytelling for Chinese audiences.
- Lead executive messaging, media briefings and presentations for corporate or brand events.
- Curate and surface stories from the China organization for global communication audiences.
- Support CSR communication and employer branding initiatives.
- Brief, manage and steer external agencies and service providers on digital, social media and creative projects.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- Several years of experience in brand, corporate or digital communications, preferably in a multinational or matrix environment.
- Proven ownership of digital communication platforms and social media channels within the China ecosystem.
- Ability to work autonomously, set priorities and deliver end‑to‑end projects.
- Strong agency management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
